Hang on a bit, said VC as she picked herself up off the floor, rubbing the wellie boot marks off her back. I may be a bit doddery but a tankard of red will soon put the spring back in my step.........so shove over and let me through.........and with that.........

....In fact a Borrower from that famous TV series a while back and was a tad prone to hoarding stuff...especially from skips...

Just popping in to say that since The Gardener's Rest thread is no longer a "never-ending story" but more of a a fantasy chat thread instead, I don't think I'll be coming any more. Loved the other GR threads, sad to see it deteriorate.

As far as I am aware, the GR is intended to be a light-hearted bit of everything for weary souls to drop in on and enjoy..In the end, it's only what people make it, though I do think its a bit unfair to posters to use the term deteriorate, but that's my view and you have yours...

As VC says, start a story and others will join in (Shen already has and people have!!)
