It was broadcast towards the end of 1969. Although we only had B&W TV, I remember reading that the 3 main characters wore colours that matched plug wiring of the day - Alison wore red, Gwynn green, and Roger black. When I look back at the old Dr Who series they seem so bland and not at all scarey- but I suppose the next most stressful thing I was watching on TV would have been Bill and Ben losing Weed in the garden or Andy Pandy not being able to close the lid on the basket
