Good morning, its cold dark and wet outside, I am hobbling around due to an inflamed tendon in the arch of my foot, The doctor and the podiatrist (why dont they call them footologists) are pretty useless, I was wondering if any of that Rhubarb snot would help?

Bore da!! Was woken about an hour ago by some hard rain hammering on the windows - didn't keep me awake for long though!! Grey and uninviting out there now - but what else should it be like? Its November, the gloomiest month of the year according to the VC almanac!

You get deliveries! Ours stopped years ago on economic grounds.

Bill we've had the same milkman for 35 years we just have 6 bottles delivered then buy extra milk from the local store.

They stopped delivering milk and I am in a town! We are supposed to be better off nowadays yet services have gone down hill. I remember when the local garage served you with petrol, offered to check your oil, tyre pressures and washed your windscreen! We had deliveries of milk bread and even fish. So are we really any better off. EEEE them were the days.

Milkman still delivers to our little cul-de-sac and we are in the 'burbs of Stoke on Trent. Glorious morning here but very chilly, ice has still not melted on windscreen of my car and it is in full sunshine!

Feral, I have a giant yellow cucumber that was lurking at the back of the greenhouse that I missed when I was still harvesting them. I have it sitting on a table outside the back door - I am waiting for it to 'break down' a little bit before attempting to harvest some seeds.

The creme brulees went down really well - turns out it is my friend's favourite pud!

Oi, we never had fish delivered! But we did get milk and bread delivered, until the kelpie frightened the baker off. Previous baker used to give him some bread so he expected the next one to, as well.
And the milk had about an inch of cream on the top and we used to have a roster of whose turn it was to get the first pour of milk :P You don't get that now, they fix it so it seems like it was just shaken up!

Me back's sore, I'm a poor old woman. But the d@mn yard is looking half good. Some of those tufts of grass are MASSIVE! Hope the poor mower lasts till the end of summer, have two of them on their last legs.
