Early start for me - have to clear the rubbish out of the car and take it down for a service and MOT by 9 Must find my legal reg plates too

Morning its dull and grey here so I'm a bit jealous of Flo's rainbow.

Morning All.....Very changeable outside. At the moment we have sun - it's drying the raindrops. I must go out and pick the raspberries today. The other night I made very low carb crumble with strawberries, raspberries and pears from the garden - it looked good, no idea what it tasted like as the guys didn't leave me any. Presumably, going by the speed at which it disappeared, it was good....

Sewing today, I hope. #1 Son is back from the North so workshop access is limited. He had a job interview yesterday, sort of. They called him at short notice, he couldn't get back from Salop quick enough and had to turn them down. They then phoned back, said they'd altered the times and could he come for the written exam, they'd not bother with the formal interview - very odd, we think - so he went yesterday, sat the exam and now we're waiting......

I'm back - just a bit worried Took my car to neighbour's garage for service & MOT - he didn't know I'd be there as I'd booked through reception BUT he had my name written on his hand Just to ring me about his new greenhouse but ......weird.
Went to hairdressers on chance of an appointment and there'd been a cancellation, so I've changed from being a Dulux dog to a Westie
Intended to walk home but its raining here so back to the garage and borrowed a car.
So far so good, just hope there are no probs with the MOT and I'll have a completely happy day

Getting house back to its usual self, after family staying for almost a week. Washing,cleaning, etc and need to re-stock empty fridge and wine rack!

Really hope to get up to plot to see what's been blown down, what ( if anything needs picking), and just to say 'hello', missed not popping up there!

Afternoon all....
getting closer to the weekend...
Found the last jar of last year's Green Tomato Chutney yesterday evening and had to have some with a toasted sandwich...Was delish, so have persuaded myself to give it a go again this year...Will have to dig out the recipe from where ever it is.
