Dear "Mrs-New-Lady-In-the-Village". Your little brown terrier dog is a very sweet girl, but she is going to be hit by a car if you DO NOT SORT OUR YOUR FENCING!! Today was the THIRD time I've handed her back over the fence to you and for the third time you weren't aware that she had got out.
Quite apart from that, Max's eye-sight is not brill and he mistakes her for a cat or a rabbit and therefore fair game. Just sayin....

The lady in the bank who wouldn't take a cheque that I was paying in because it was made out to MR and not M which is Mr Z's first initial. It took me several explains to make it clear that MR wasn't his initials but a commonly used abbreviation for Mister. As in mister and missus.

Me, I hate my fingers. I've got nerve damage in them, so I drop things all the time. Today I dropped my keys in the water butt: the butt I've been too lazy to clean out every year, the butt I have 3 goldfish in; the very butt which had 6" of black goldfish poo in the bottom.

I couldn't use a long-handled hooking fishing tool of any kind, because I'd just locked the shed with the keys. The house was locked too, because I'm paranoid about someone getting in while I'm out in the garden.

Ho hum: I've now cleaned that water butt out

... Printers that won't print (or even scan) without both ink cartridges being full. Kodak, you suck. I will never purchase anything Kodak ever, ever, again. And, btw, it might state the cartridge is empty but I've opened it and there's shedloads of ink in there.

My camera that died was a Kodak and would only ever work on new batteries. Once they were half empty , the lens would come out, whirr a couple of times at me, then retreat back into the camera again. Really, it was a relief when it broke. The new one has a rechargeable. The sun shines after every storm

The whole street was empty and there is a car park 50 yards across the way, so why during the night would you park across our drive? It's taken the police and the hire car company an hour and a half to find you and get you to shift it

My Rant: Some folk just shouldn't have animals. This person claims to LOVE them, so why are they standing in a windy field, in the rain with no rugs on, when everyone else's either have a waterproof on, or have been put in a stable? You know they're cold, we told you yesterday that they were cold, and it was dry overnight. Today it is raining, and they'll be bluddy cold. All because you don't want to drive back down there in the evening to see to them. You really are a lazy and very selfish c*w, and you don't deserve them!

Young teenagers who decide to have a "gathering" in the street outside my house at 11 pm - No, I don't want to hear your foul language and stupid bragging at the tops of your voices while you wait for the rest of your horrible friends to join you so you can all go home together.

My lack of culinary skills.

I've just made 2 lots of plum jam/confiture and neither has set.
I know French sugar is very different to English sugar- but I wish I had more experience to know exactly what to do to compensate!

( plum and orange ...and plum and cinnamon)...and yes I added lemon juice and it's still sickly sweet and not set.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother!

Nics, can you buy gelatine or even fruit jellies over there? If you can stir an appropriate flavour jelly into the hot jam it might set, save it being wasted. O just have fruity syrup for ice creams, rice puds, the bottom of steamed sponges etc.

I always find plums don't set well - can you get powdered or liquid pectin out there? I always use it with plums...

Or make a plum chutney - no setting needed

My rant: Farm shops who can't understand that I can't produce 8 kilos of jam with less than 12hrs notice. You know very well what the terms of our agreement are, and that I don't keep the catering packs in stock as I only produce them for you!

Bluddy woman who thinks it's funny to 'chat' to my Dog when she walks past. I'm trying REALLY hard to train him to shut-the-chuff-up when folk walk past, and you are NOT HELPING AT ALL - stoopid c*w!
