Because I'm digging a pond (ok, a mate with a digger - have you seen our boulders) and hope to let it fill naturally. There is of course NO RAIN on the ten day forecast, possibly the first time this year....

Smallish pond - 2mx2mx.75m deep. That was the biggest liner we could afford. I fancy having a go at a clay lined natural duck pond at some point.
