Yeah....they always say that. Probably be about three in truth
Even 3" ties up the traffic nowadays. I was sitting in the cab of a MAC lorry at Alford transport museum on Friday afternoon and later standing beside the snowplough it ws used to push. The snowplough was 3ft above my head and the cab of the lorry was a huge climb to get in to. They used to cope with snowdrifts and snow up to 12ft at the roadsides in the country areas so 3" of snowfall these days should not be a problem but it is. Maybe it's just the volume of traffic nowadays that makes the difference.
We had snow Saturday night, melted Sunday afternoon with few showers. Had fantastic sunshine all day but tomorrow wintery showers. Wish it would make up it's mind
As we’re on Pubs drove here with friends today. (Also gives me an excuse to try a first time piccy).
Back on the weather, and back home we must have had rain again. Think it’s the same stuff all the time, just goes round in ever recurring circles.
