I'm sure forgetting to lock your extending lead is an easy mistake to make if you tie your dogs up outside a shop. I have no issue with that at all. However, when said dogs are snapping and lunging at other pooches, children and old ladies, then pushing through shop doors because no-one can find you, I think it's ok for someone (me!) to carefully, gently but firmly reel them in and lock the lead.

Nice of you to shout at me instead of saying thanks for saving you from at best embarrasment and at worst your dogs being destroyed and a prosecution.

No chatting but never did anything with a birth certificate or ID when applied last year, or even this year. Puzzled.

Not chatting as I have spent half an hour looking for my cardigan which I have now spotted on the floor next to my desk. Hmm.

Getting covered in black printer ink. I look like a dalmation. However, the tip of putting extra ink in the cartridge before using it does seem to have worked.

According to the new cartridge box, I should get 440+ pages of black text per cartridge - it's one of those fabulous 'save ink' cartridges - but we're lucky if we get 20. I'll never buy one of these printers again, it's got a drink problem.

Oh, so many today. Here's a few


1. Getting called a b1tch by a taxi driver who'd parked across my cycle lane

2. Having my plot weedkillered AGAIN by Mr Mystery

3. Parents, repeatedly being asked not to park on the school grounds, continuing to do so

I told my brother unless he pulls his finger out and works on the allotment this year I won't do it next year. His reply okay then don't! Gaaaaaaaaaaah. You don't bloody work full time or have a partner or a house to look after! I could do blummin violence!

The BH is due home late this morning. She has phoned me at just after 7am, to rant at me for not looking after her darling son. Had I looked after him properly he would not have been hospitalized. Yeah right, whatever. I notice she didn't phone or visit her 'darling son' once last week......she didn't even phone me to ask how he was.

She also wants us to go round to theirs tonight for a BBQ. Not a chance. Not a flippin' chance, even if the BH was up to it. Last time (7 years ago) we went round there for a BBQ she made the BH take over the cooking - I wouldn't put it past her to do that again. And she never invites the children.

Because we're skint, my birthday present this year is supposed to be a day's labour on the allotment from OH. Why then is he still in bed? Oh yes, that's because his 'day' doesn't start until about 2pm

So, he gets here for this 'day's labour' at 2pm, and promptly gets the strimmer out. You don't need to do that, I say, the committee has weed killed all the verges, but he still spends half an hour trying and failing to get it started because it's 'annoying'... Then I ask if he'll start chopping back the brambles that I can't reach, or mending the fence, or taking down the bit of wire fence I'm not strong enough to disentangle, while I take the dog round the block for a wee. I get back to find him painting the shed, having already painted my bench (which is supposed to be oiled!!) so I can't sit down. I'm so frikkin' angry I can't breathe properly I can paint the freaking shed any bloody day!!!! Why? Whyyyyyyy????!!!!!
