Hello again havent been able to get for a while coz son cleaned up me puter, so Im happy to be back

A friend has just invited me for a Saturday morning swim in the river that flows past my lottie... this will be a first for me! Not sure whether it will make me happy or just perishing cold!

Swim was lovely! Bobbing downstream past the rows of cabbages and broad beans... a tad surreal to be honest!

Another thing that makes me happy is that I have just become a 'sprouter' on this forum! Ridiculously chuffed.

I've won a Crab Apple tree with my breakfast yogurt (Yeo). You need the special pots for an entry code but they're giving away 10,000 trees at 100 trees a day - and you can choose between rowan, silver birch, wild cherry and crab apple . I think the odds are good that you'll win

I thought my hanging baskets were looking strangely lush given this heat. Just found my mad neighbor directing her hose over the fence at them. For once, I'm grateful for her meddling
