A couple of my favorite Wodehouse quotes:

“He had just about enough intelligence to open his mouth when he wanted to eat, but certainly no more.”

“I'm not absolutely certain of the facts, but I rather fancy it's Shakespeare who says that it's always just when a fellow is feeling particularly braced with things in general that Fate sneaks up behind him with the bit of lead piping.”

            And Caitlin Moran:

“It's difficult to see the glass ceiling because it's made of glass. Virtually invisible. What we need is for more birds to fly above it and sh@t all over it, so we can see it properly.”

For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: 'If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?' And whenever the answer has been 'No' for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something

I miss a good friend of my fathers who used to say 'one thing and another like you know', I used to count how often he said it, I remember him saying it 5 times once in a continuous stream of conversation. no one interrupted him.

God bless him, he was a lovely man.

Maybe not a quote as such, but none the less amusing. Especially when said with a radnorshire accent.

'one hing a-anuther ly u no'.
