Just saw this article and thought you might like to read it. BBC News - How much did The Good Life influence the good life?
When I first saw the show, even though I knew it was comedy, I was convinced that we could do the same - chuck in work and become self-sufficient. I'm sure that subconsciously it did influence our lifestyle. We even tried making peapod wine

Barbara Good - Felicity Kendall was the first tv star I really fancied She's not too bad even yet . has she influenced my life? Don't think so. We all accept there are some things in life we are not going to get and move on.
