Maybe that's the artist in me then. All animals/birds have to be fed and watered before I am - each morning without fail. Kids come in that category too.Originally posted by Aberdeenplotter View Postsymetry doesn't count, that's at least rational

Get up, let out chooks, wee wees for dog, come in feeders/drinkers for chooks, bowls for dogs, breakfast for kids, clean out fire, take it out, bring in coal and kindling, lay it all for later, have breakfast and coffee, Hoover, Roosty eats breakfast then, long walk for dog.Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better...Albert Einstein

You could always change the supermarket you shop at.Originally posted by Aberdeenplotter View PostIn T*sco, I just can't pick up a basket with handles clad in clear plastic. I will only take the blue uns. I know it's not rational but then I guess someone who encourages tangentisation isn't rational anyway.

I wasn't particular about pegs until KK was hanging out the washing one day with matching pegs. I can't peg clothes out randomly now! I count slices when I'm chopping veg's and if it looks as if I'm going to end up with 13 cuts, I make and extra small slice to that it can be 14 and my shoes have to be the right way round before I put them on.

I have an irrational dislike of T&sco - actually now I come to think of it, it's not irrational at allOriginally posted by Aberdeenplotter View PostIn T*sco, I just can't pick up a basket with handles clad in clear plastic. Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

NUTTER!
Jeeeez, I though I was bad!
Curtains must hang straight, and our lounge curtains are too small, so when drawn there is a length of rail showing. It must be equal length both sides. Mr.G now does it right, because he's fed up with me moaning about it!
Loo Roll must hang over towards the front, not the wall.
The bathroom door must be left ajar, but at the right place.
Now, this one annoys even me. If I get one hand wet, I have to rub them together, and dry them both! WTF!
OCD is NORMAL - I don't trust anyone that doesn't have it!

No. I knew I had the thing that became SAD before it had a name. It wasn't invented, it was always there. Those of us who suffer from it are just relieved it is now a recognisable condition. I don't use it as an excuse not to get on with life, it frustrates the hell out of me,Originally posted by Bigmallly View PostI would imagine the same as the did before SAD came along.Jules

I'm going to watch you next time! So why don't you swizzle Mr VVG's famous latte around? Drink from one side for half, turn it, then the other!

Before the days of putting things in boxes with catchy acronyms it was generically known as .... The Winter Blues .. normally cured by lighting a nice fire & sitting around it with family/friends drinking & chatting about the summer holidays to comeOriginally posted by julesapple View PostI knew I had the thing that became SAD before it had a name.
