I find the rush of blood when I stand on my head helps a great deal.

For me it's a power nap, it always works but then I don't have anyone to "care" for Jules.

Yeah... I know I used it, but that word 'care' bugs me somewhat. People ask if I'm the paid carer for my husband. No, I'm not paid, I don't need to be paid to care for anyone I love, it isn't a chore or a duty. Of course there are paid carers out there, who do stonkingly difficult jobs, I appreciate that.

It's a shame BM doesn't have anyone to care for me, I could do with it! I've only ever managed what I thought was a power nap twice - very heavily asleep for about twenty minutes. I did wake up feeling very refreshed. If I were to settle down for a nap this afternoon, I'd be out for hours. I'm good at sleep when I'm bored, but it does reach a point where if I sleep all day for days on end, I'm then awake all the time - bit of a pain at 3am....

Anyway, time to pull the finger out, get moving, put something into the day!

Sounds like you're a bit down about things Jules. I get like that too at times. Have been there because of the job lately. But now that I have a new one looming I've got a different focus. Your weather won't be helping either.
I'm just missing some energy atm. Hopefully things will pick up for you and you'll feel the energy return.

Fez, mostly I'm just cross with myself. I know I'm the only one who can fix this - it's my own lazy fault. I know, once I'm off my butt, I'm fine. I just need to get off my butt...

Getting there - I am at least dressed today, and tidily at that! I want to have another go at this Valentine's card but if I do someone will arrive in the workroom saying 'Watcha doin'?' and the surprise will be spoiled.

Dress linings it is then......once the fire is lit. That wind is howling straight down the chimbley. Can't sew with cold hands.
