Where do slugs go when it freezes?

My stepson is slow but a tad tall for a slug and anyway he's good with computers.

You are probably right about them living in compost an manure and deeper underground.

Slug fact - "The slug can mate with itself if necessary," I suppose thats one way of keeping warm!

Does anyone know how slugs survive the frost and snow??

They find little frost-free pockets: gaps in leaves, underground, underneath pots: anywhere that there's a little microclimate. Just because you see frost on the ground, doesn't mean there's frost everywhere. You'll always find little sheltered patches ... and so do the pests.
