  • Indeed it is. And we have Snohare camping in Coventry in the pouring rain and he has come all this way for 5 people.

    • I don't know what to say but I am feeling so bloody sorry for a cold man and his soggy doggy. He has a three mile walk to the railway station too in the morning and I'm seriously contemplating picking him up from his wet campsite.

        • No way we can let him do that - we may have to change the venue. I've texted LRG to see if we can sort something out.

          • BINS - have you had a text from VVG?

We may have to have a change in venue if we can contact LRG and HH in time...

                • This is why I suggested change so that I can pick him up from Coventry campsite rather than see him, tent, backpack and dog stride miles to catch a train to see five people. It's up to him and LRG and what they want to see really. We four girls can see Brum or GO at any time, can't we? I agree with Zaz that had we known it was going to end up with just us four again that we could have picked somewhere closer to other grapes.

                  • LRG is fine with Ryton so we just need to arrange to pick her up tomorrow and take her to Ryton, and drop her off at New Street in time for train home. She's not too impressed about so many dropping out either! It's not cheap staying in a hotel overnight.

I think we are going to have to rethink the Grape Meetups!

                    • It's bad really but the intrepid four will party it up. We could have made LDs day and taken this to Leicester had we known or Yorkshire and made Sarz and FloFennel's.

                        • HH has agreed to pick up LRG and come to Ryton so I'm going to ring Snohare and tell him me or Bins will pick him up. No walking/trains. More veg at Ryton. Maybe afterwards bacon but ties at Jo's Lotty and I'll bring my spade
Is 2130 too late to ring someone on a campsite? He may have switched his phone off to preserve battery. Now there's a thought!
