I do think this is the best forum to contemplate your navels. And other fruit. And veg. And chooks. And lunacies of one kind or another.

I used to belong to two other forums; a crafty one which was extremely b*tchy and one for a medical condition. Every time you logged on to either of them posts had been locked or there were huge arguments running in threads with members getting very personal and very irate. And that was every day.

Not here thankfully. I do occasionally check in with one other forum for the medical condition, but this is the only forum I really belong to now. Don't need anywhere else....

Veg Man - you are not wrong. Another thing is you can dip in / out anywhere anytime as I have done over the nearly 7 years I have been a member (I cheated and looked at my profile). There is an untapped encylopaedia of knowledge here (just check out Rat's great recipe for Cucumber soup, or threads on greenhouses, polly tunnels, bug id etc.) and it never goes away.
