My rant - the bloody weather. I was going to finish the lawn today.

Missed a parcel so have to wait til Saturday for it now.
Couldn't find nice birthday cards so got to look for some elsewhere.

PMSL at Wizz's rant - I just knew, as soon as the word 'sandstone' appeared, that it would be in pieces by the end of the saga! Sorry Wizz, not laughing, honest. OK, I'm sniggering, a little.

My rant; people who don't stock up on cards when they find the good'uns! (Thanks alldigging )

Bladdy BT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They turn up to replace a telegraph pole no notice to anyone, walking through gardens as if they own them, wire everywhere, never ask for permission.

Disturb one of my bird boxes, nesting blue tits, etc etc and I am not with bladdy BT so why are you surprised when I tell you to foxtrot oscar.

Rant No 1: I've overdone it. Back at work, was being really good honest, but I've definitely overdone it. But that's not the issue. The issue is himself. He'll come in. He'll start on about overdoing it. He'll say he told me so. He'll give me an evening's grief for overdoing it. Sigh

Rant No 1: Enough YACON! I have about 10 packets of the stuff. STOP IT NOW.

People wot expect me listen to their choice of radio station, when I don't like it!

For the record (haha!) if anyone is actually bovvered, I used to prefer Absolute, but I can't abide that Pillock who does the breakfast show, and, well, Adblock doesn't work on the Radio, does it, and commercial Radio would have me back in here three hundred times a day!!

Now, what did I come in here for?

Rant No 3 - I've been in 30 mins and I'm freezing. I can't warm up. I have the heater on and the beastie on and I can't stop shivering. I didn't get wet today...and the heating is also on. Brrrrrr.....going to cook something in the oven to warm up a bit I think.

People who won't let you finish parking before they start driving/ reversing out of their space. Happened to me twice this week. First time the woman wouldn't wait about 10 seconds while I backed up so I just stopped and waited for her but of course I was in her way so she had to manoeuvre backwards and forwards about 10 times to get enough lock on to be able to turn. She was only in a Mini. Would have been quicker for her to wait.

Then I get him to nip to the co-op because I need ice cream [acided/burnt oesophagus from being ill, remember?]

Then we realise why it's so cold - the flippin pilot has gone out. [Rant No 4].
