Was that Chavda, VC? Hope there's some Paperwhites & Amaryllis left tomorrow when I go to get the groceries.

You didn't see any Snake's Head Fritillaria, did you? I want some for my tubs.

I don't need tempting. Had to be peeled away from the Poundland roses that I had my heart set on.

I bought some growmore, 2 hostas, tomato feed, red hot poker, pea and bean seeds, lettuce seeds + propagator, sweet peas + propagator and a few other things from there.

BTW, Aldi are selling fruit trees again from Thurs 7th -

                            Pears: William bon chrieten, Conference
                            Plums: Victoria
                            Apples: Cox, Braeburn, Gala, Bramley
                            Raspberry: "Long cane" (generic then)
Apricot: "Early" (again, sounds generic but may be New Large Early - or just any early variety)
                            Peaches: Red Haven

I've never seen peaches or apricots there, I'm going to try and get a the Red haven peach and grow it against a wall. I've never seen peach or apricot trees bare root for £4 for that matter (all the trees are £4). There's also a Calamondin in shown in the leaflet, but it doesn't appear to be actually offered despite my initial hopes of getting one for 4 quid.

Well quite embarrassingly for £10, I could get very very drunk....hic.

I could probably achieve it without even spending a penny.

Anyway, noticed tesco's had a good choice of seeds for 99p each in passing today, handy for the odd thing you can't elsewhere. (lidl)
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Marcher - I bought a Red Haven from Aldi last year. It's healthy but has not fruited yet. Snadger also bought one but I think his was the year before, he had a post going at one time but seemed to drop off. It may have been me that dropped off........
