My kids do that sort of thing. Wear a jumper in summer, shorts in winter. Guess your postman just never grew up

I saw our postie last week, cold, pouring with rain, and he was also wearing shorts, with a waterproof jacket on his top half (don't know what was under that
). I wondered if it was so his trouser legs didn't get wet and uncomfortable
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.

My neighbour always wanders around in shorts too....T shirt, baseball cap summer AND winter....I think the only time I have seen him in anything longer is when he was going to a funeral!!
(He's 78 by the way and says he doesnt feel the cold! Hope I'm like that when I'm that age!)
