What would you learn in a week in school?

No idea, you need a modern major general, who understands equations both the simple and quadratical.....

Our maths teacher always proclaimed that algelbra was all to do with 'Apples and oranges'

I used to also hate logarithms, and can't for the life of me remember what they were used for too.
Trigonometry got really comlicated when later in my working life it went from Cosine,Sine and Tangent to Cotan and all the other permutations of the three.

Maths was one of my best subjects in school and I really enjoyed algebra - not a clue about it now - so I think I'd like to relearn algebra.
I can still "see" my log table book, it had a dingy buff cover and was covered in blots - because we wrote with real pens and ink, you know! I still have the fountain pen I was given for passing the 11+. Maybe I'll see if it works and start using it again
Junior schooldays were happy ones, High school was one long battle - against the teachers, some pupils and against growing up. I disliked most of it.

If I went back to school I'd probably learn how to use all the 'fiddly bits' on my mobile phone

If I went back to school now I'd like to learn betterer English, as what I does speak is a bit squidgy round the edges like.

Then I'd like to learn some new languages, Spanish, Chinese, and Hindi, I think the future will see these become more important as our world becomes increasing dominated by China, India, and South America.

I will never forget SOHCAHTOA which is triganometry to do with angles.

I hated gradients though. I dont care what the curve in a graph means unless it gives me a bumper crop!
