Chocolate is good for you. Well, sort of. Obviously, if you breakfast on it, you may die young.
But dark chocolate is a source of copper, which is lacking from most people's diets, and can help lower cholesterol and high-blood pressure.
We're talking of traces here – not enough to melt down and sell to China. But still, 100g of dark chocolate can contain between 1mg and 1.8mg of copper, about the right daily intake.
It's either that or chewing lightning conductors.

dark choc is revolting,it makes me feel yuky,shivers at the thought,milk and white ummmy,odd now and then DH gets the tins raveled up and i end up being given cocoa instead of hot choc,and i can tell and have to chuck it down sink,i must have a very sweet pallet and tooth lol,sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment

I'm the opposite - I prefer dark chocolate because it's not so sweet. I hate white choc - yuk!

I like all kinds of chocolate, but milk LESS than the other 2. Best of all is Maya Gold, but what I really like is... not the same one I was just eating.....Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment
