bet you not getting a lot of sleep at the mo,
These are not my sheep! Last year we decided we'd had enough of sheep and would get rid of the lot.
- Elder daughter asked for a sheep flock for her 18th birtday present!
- So six Welsh x Wiltshire ewes were kept and she got Glorfindel who is a Pedigree Kerry Hill ram as well.
- So I just give directions now and teach the harder bits.
- Yesterday, younger dughter anounced she wants some sheep for her 18th, too but could she have the ewes this year so she gets a lamb flock before she goes to uni'.
- Father explodes!
Before you ask, keeping sheep can just about be fitted in around uni' if you some one to do daily checks and emergencies.Last edited by marchogaeth; 06-04-2012, 12:14 PM."A life lived in fear is a life half lived."
PS. I just don't have enough time to say hello to everyone as they join so please take this as a delighted to see you here!

This isn't general chat M, this is Me you're talking to (and lottieD of course)!Originally posted by marchogaeth View PostI was going to PM VC but as two of you have asked:- (I swore blind I'd not do the General Chat forum VC!! Now you're giving me bad habits.)
I remember your daughter mentioned the sheep and whether you could create a wood around them (IYKWIM)!
Its a wonderful gift for an 18th - but I guess you and OH are the ones who do the daily checks etc!!
I'll try not to lead you astray again!!! Feeling a bit sheepish myself now!

I know what you mean VC.Originally posted by veggiechicken View PostYou can laugh Zaz! I'm still all of a doodah. Whoever was responsible has a lot to answer for!!
Took me a long time to get over the fact that someone nominated me and that the Mods accepted.
I still recall young Zaz saying about "Quality control"
