I'll look out for you two then. Will you be wearing a sprig of brassica instead of the obligatory carnation?

Went last year, had been round the full show in about an hour, went round again and killed about another half hour but then was on my way. Was OK but nothing really different and not worth travelling to. Not going this year as I didn't think it was value for money if you add on petrol but hopefully over time it will grow into a decent specialist grow your own show and not be swept up in the expensive gimmicky stuff that you see all over the place - I don't want to buy a trowel that looks pretty I want one that lasts and does the job etc

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

It is bigger this year and if it gets plenty of support then surely it will grow .........

This thread got me thinking what shows might be happening closer to me, so I did a quick search and came across Gardener's world live and realised Monty will be there *swoon*. So, I ordered tickets for me and my daughter for both the show and Monty's little seminar so that's where we will be in June LOL Might even stay over night and go see James Martin too

That's in Brum isn't it? Is it not the same distance to Warwickshire roughly?

Brum is closer to me and I was thinking of going.

£8 for parking I've never paid any thing when I've been to the NEC camping show, may have to have a rethink now. I dislike the feeling of being ripped off .

Yep, there's no difference for me really, but MONTY is at the NEC He's my hero and one of my life achievements will be to have been in the same room as him lol

Next year I think they should do all three shows on the same weekend - then it's really worth my trip lol
