Typical Scrappie behaviour, I'm sorry to say! Would you settle for a plastic windmill - he has lots of colours?

I know the one! My brother was looking for it the other day. He said it was the only thing he could aim for.

I was going to suggest a barbecue too, cut it length ways and add hinges then it doesn't matter if its windy as it will had a lid!

There are ways of having a BBQ in Orkney (lived there for 15 years), but I'd go for the raised beds idea, just make sure both halves have suitable drainage holes, and 'protect' the edges!
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

i'm with CS on this, scrap value would be high as all scrap metal is nowadays
also consider whilst steamcleaning the oil out wheres it gonna go ? down the drain ? not very enviro friendly, maybe even illegal

It's coming home this weekend so we'll study it and debate what to do with it. We are also getting some other bits and pieces - mostly wood. Destined to form part of a shed ... probably.

If stood on end it would be fairly easy to convert it into a 6x4 tool shed for the allotment
