Fabulous! Sounds as if you have everything there. The mine adit has probably been blocked up and well hidden behind who knows what undergrowth! You are going to spend many a happy hour or a hundred looking for the entrance. As snohare says you might be able to locate it by the shape of the landscape. AND you will be able to sit and watch the badgers at close hand once they get used to you being around.

So now you've got BM building a tree nest, Snohare doing the coppicing, LD running round with no trousers on, so what can I do? I know - I'll sit among the bluebells and watch the badgers

Not only is she a Laird (technically addressed as "Lady", although the Laird, I believe not addressed as such) but she is branching out as landlord of a sitting tenant...? ! You do realise most landlords dislike squatters...

As for Brock, never mind what you do, just sit by a trail and they will come past you - they are sett in their ways ! (This activity would suit naturists - no rustling clothes to deter the wildlife, no perfumes presumably - except perhaps Eau DeMozzie.)

That would be a hoot (any owls about?) - but I'm not sleeping in any tree nest though (too high off the ground!). I'm clinking glasses with LD as well to celebrate your new wood.
