I've been crunching this evening, very satisfying. The bran deters the snugs while it's dry RL, but once it's wet it's no barrier.

My rant: You're supposed to have retired from private practice, so retire.

Covered my bare parts with insect repellent today. Twice. Came home this evening, and lifted right trouser leg to inspect sore knee, curious as to why it was red and tender on the outer side of the knee, to discover I have been munched. Biiiiig red patch. Bigger than the palm of my hand, and red hot.

Super-strong antihistamine taken. Bio-freeze sprayed. Ice compress applied.

Two hours later, and it has gone down in size and temperature, but is still sore.

Go bite someone else FFS!

Rant - rain rain rain

I have lost my usual optimistic outlook. Nothing I have sown has grown, nothing has fruited, the only thing I can eat apart from herbs is some holey rocket.
Everything is stunted, what has grown has been munched, and munched completely.
