Am watching it at the moment although was a bit concerned when an aubergine was in the shot that they described as "winter bounty"! The bubble and squeak looks pretty rancid though, nowhere near as nice as the stuff I make at home.

Them scotch eggs with runny middles looked lurverlee as did that chunky stew begood when they get the recipes up on t'hinternet

I didn't like the runny eggs either but suppose it depends on how you eat your scotchies. Quite interesting programme though.

I saw it Saturday morning but got totally annoyed when the presenter kept talking about local winter produce with stacks of super shiny toms, peppers, aubergines and sweetcorn all in the back ground - it looked like a supermarket veg section gave up watching at the stew point.

They've made a really big thing about it being a good thing that Rhug Farm are exporting turkeys to Hong Kong - it isn't. Yes am sure they're lovely but it's never good to ship food that far

There are too many food miles in selling North Wales produce in Borough Market, let alone shipping/flying it out to Hong Kong. Haven't seen the programme though so can't really comment.

I just mash up cooked mash and sprouts / cabbage and fry it in a bit of butter until you can a nice browny crust on it. The stuff she was serving looked a bit soggy and a funny grey colour, no flecks of green from the veggies at all.
