          We had loads up and down our street - many of us were well prepared. The kids had really dressed up well and the mums and dads were out supervising. Lots of cheery smiles and 'thank you's. One of them gave me a silver parcel bow which the cat has taken a shine to and is playing football with. The black stray cat that got re-homed with my nice neighbour was wandering up and down the street with the kids - they thought it was great! All quiet now!
          I think the next event is going to be 'penny for the guy'.
