If my family are anything to go by, I am at my worst now. My mum and dad were overweight and pretty unhappy at my age, yet now at 47 and 53 respectivley they are much happier - my dad is very fit and healthy and running his own motorsport business in asia, and my mum is younger than ever. *eats more chocolate*

LadyWayne was worrying about Bean wanting to play rugby when he's older "my little sausage might get hurt". Imagine being one of the mum's on the opposing side I told her. Bean's going to be yewge!

According to the book from the hospital we have he is the same height at 2 & 1/2 as the "average" 4 year old, and the same weight as the "average" 5 year old.

Size 10 feet already. Hands like shovels.

Jonah Lomu?! Pah, a pipsqueak by comparison.

I think I need to get back on my bike - I need to get fit, fast and flexible!

He could be a future England Rugby star!

(Unless he does what my supposedly rugby-mad Nephew did, and whimp out when they went from tag to contact Rugby at school. )

          I'm working on his basketball skills: The NBA's Highest-Paid Players - Forbes.com

He scored his first unassisted hoop last night.

I can vaguely remember going to London to see the Harlem Globetrotters as a kid!

One of the tickets I was trying to get for th'Olympics next year was the basketball. Alas, I was one of those deemed not worthy of tickets, so we'll have to make do with the MK Lions: MK Lions - The Official Website for the Milton Keynes Lions
