Walnuts - my hands are brown!!!

How can I remove the brown stain from my hands .....I was peeling walnuts on Sunday.
I have scrubbed and scrubbed but alas no change - anyone got any ideas please.
My hands look like they are made of wood! or I went mad with the fake tan stuffy

You might have a new market there......fake tan by product of walnuts.....you could make millions!

Try lemon juice or juice leave it to wear off!!!!!

Anyhow, where on earth did you find walnuts? I have been looking skywards for them for ages. Keep falling over but no nuts.

VVG the little nut tree is in my garden! and we have had a goodly crop this year.
The tree was grown by my bother from a nut that came from a tree that still grows in the village I was born in. My father picked the walnuts from this tree as did the three of us children.

Oh dear its truth time - we picked the nuts one day on our way home from Sunday school, and shelled them in Mums kitchen and yes, our hands went dark brown - trouble is over the many years I had forgotten this small fact- until now......ooops

Actually we do walk - still can't find them owing to squirrels or just lack of country planting. Tend to be planted in business parks, etc.

In a small jar mix 4 parts flour 1 part salt by volume. Add enough oil to make a mixture like a very soft playdough.
Wet hands, grab some of the above goo, and rub all over wet hands for a minute or so.
Rinse off under running tap while continuing to rub hands (just like when washing with soap).
Not only does it remove MOST stains (and dirt that has got into tiny cracks in dry skin), but it leaves hands very smooth and soft.
I haven't actually tried it for walnut stains, but suspect it would work excellently, it's a good thing to have in a gardeners washing kit anyway.

Try a small handful of sugar, a glug of olive oil and a squirt of washing up liquid. Mix together, and use as you would soap. For it's "bleaching" properties, I'd add a good squeeze of lemon to the mix!

OK HF need you to ask your brother how he gre it from the nut. I have a single solitary, did I mention one on it's own walnut. Black bown casing still attached. How do I get this single nut to become my walnut tree please?!
