It seems that the start of the seed catatlogue season has started and the T&M one dropped through the letter box the other day. Don't normally bother with that one as I don't really use them (tend to buy my standard stuff off Kings and a few special bits from Real Seeds and the like) but had a flick through last night. Got a few pages in and almost dropped it - was a piccie of somebody I know who works as a plant breeding man. Can't find it on the web site but this is him - Charles Valin: In pursuit of perfection - Telegraph. Never realised exactly what he did and now am envious of his work
