Last year I had a rogue squash (yellow pumkkin looking) in amongst my crown prince squash plants (own seed). Saved 10 of the seeds and 6 are sprouting...as we now have our own allotment I will be able to plant more but still have some to give away.A weed is a plant that has mastered every survival skill except for learning how to grow in rowsComment

Being greeted by Beau's thumping tail when I put my hand down at the side of the bed this morning. Poor baby has had a bad bilious attack and been off his food for a couple of days. The vet thought he may have had a bit of a reaction to his worming tab. Been very subdued and restless, but today I have my happy, cuddly RAVENOUS boy back!When the Devil gives you Cowpats - make Satanic Compost!
