Bracing myself for grocery shopping with Mr JS this evening at the out of town shopping centre, and finding the car park only half full and the store pleasantly uncrowded, because apparently tonight is the 'big' night for office parties and everyone else is still at work getting legless and photocopying bits they shouldn't!

Watching a procession of field voles stuffing themselves on bird seed just outside the kitchen window, then scuttling off through the rosemary bush at great speed, down the wall and back to the garden.Comment

Will be singing Christmas Carols on Christmas Eve around the village Christmas tree (I can't sing for toffee but it makes me feel all Christmassy) Can I apologise in advance to any Grapes who suffer TV interference from 6.30pm onwards as distance does not diminish my singing (just be grateful you are not standing next to me, that will be Mr Frosty who will not be wearing his hearing aids
