Getting a Christmas card from someone when it is clearly in response to you sending one to them. You know the ones, those that arrive on Christmas Eve, or even after 25th, with a first class stamp, or are on the doormat before you have returned from the local hand delivery. Always the same two neighbours regardless of me delivering on 4th or 24th Dec.

I still send cards because I want to though, but these 'boomerang cards' make me smile.

We never do anything Christmassy before Christmas eve; which means cards to neighbours - even though they have been written out for ages. It's not supposed to be a month long festival; it's 2 days! #justsaying

My rant; just the aches and pains from my accident 6 years ago and their after effects; when there's work to be done and I just am too achey to want to do it.

So ...I e-mail work asking for my shifts as the rotas weren't up before Christmas. Get told that the rotas are on the office wall (like I can see them from here) anyway they're e-mailed and all is well .........now a couple of hours later I receive new e-mails saying there are slight adjustments .......SLIGHT !!!!! the whole blinkin' lot has changed .......hate to see what happens with a major adjustment
