Just got home from Holiday opening mail got a parking ticket for �90 for 39mins watching the sea at fistral beach. it was too windy to get out of car so we just sat watching waves.

people who drive at 60mph in middle lane of motorways when inside lane is clear and people with little cars who think they are driving hgv lorries. Swinging out wide right to turn left. "TURN THE STEERING WHEEL!"

Getting woken up at stupid o'clock by the stupid farmer cultivating his stupid field outside my door; yes, doing the bit where people live first, early in the morning is so much better than doing the bit where people don't live, on the other side, first.

Weather today - wet and cold. I really do have lots of gardening to do that I should HAVE carried out yesterday. Weather report suggested sunshine today as well as warmer temperatures across UK.

Getting a �40 parking charge at Aldi for outstaying my welcome by 16 mins. However, after a little investigation, I learn that I don't have to pay this at all, so I'm now off to the Happy thread

husbands who even though they work in a large city seem unable to :

1. have any change for the bus on a daily basis
2. get a strop on when you comment on no. 1
3. post things .... obviously Liverpool has neither stamps or post offices
4. buy simple things like milk or bread on the way home..... obviously Liverpool has no shops either.

I have just been told today that I will no longer have my own office in our new building when we move in 2 weeks. Despite there being a purpose built office there for me, one of the managers has persuaded our new Director that she should have my office (leaving her office vacant) and that I should go in an open plan office on a different floor... struggling to see how I can be an assistant to the director and other managers when I'm on a different floor....

Am trying not to be a diva about it, as I know I was lucky to be afforded the luxury of a single office as a member of support staff, however, I can't help feeling there is an ulterior motive/something going on around all this....
