So I have my electric with Npower. For whatever reason they have redone our bill for the last 3 years, supposedly as they had gotten our economy 7 the wrong way round. Whatever, I think to myself. let them get on with it and we shall see what happens. So we get a bill through the door and it says we owe them �750 extra on top of everything else. We fight it and tell them heck do we owe them this. So a long morning on the phone and the guy realises the current bill is wrong again. Eventually we get a call saying that we are �35 in credit. Wonderful we think. However, this has only opened yet another can of worms. We decided to cut back on our usage as much as possible with the cost of living getting so high. So after a week we have checked the meter again and low and behold the reading that they have given us is wrong andf somewhere along the line a figure has been added by accident to the total it now turns out we have been overcharged. The reading should have been 25379 and instead its 253579 So god knows what will happen in the morning when we inform them. Hopefully it will be abit of cashback.

Aww thankyou. Its ok Im not too worried either way. The whopper of a bill is gone either way and if we get some money back then great if not then hey ho. Things are on the up here and I have my smile no matter what. They arent taking that from me, even if you cant see it as we are sat in the dark hehehe.

Are you sure the last digit isn't the small one in a different colour. That way you are only out by 22 units.

Mikey Im struggling to understand what you mean. Perhaps we have different meters. As far as I understand it the 5 has been added. Im not going to say Im an expert on these things, infact I would say far from it but the way I understand it there is a massive difference. However, hubby could have written it down wrong which would be much less complicating. Plus I could wind him up about it for aaaaaaaaages haha.
