Frozen lip

I have a recurring ulcer on my tongue making yet another appearance and it's bl**dy sore

Whilst trying to smear bonjela on the outside of my tongue I appear to have gotten most of it on my lip and it feels like I've just had an injection from a Dentist

I did that as well recently, its better to use one thats not a gel cos it sticks better and doesnt slide around, cant remember what its called though, the chemist will be able to tell you though.

My old mum used to say that ulcers on the tongue were a result of telling fibs Pisk . Don't take any more lip, give 'em a smack.

I used to suffer with ulcers all the time, don't know what changed but I seem to have grown out of them now (touches wood!). I used to do that with Bonjela all the time it's some of the most unmanageable stuff on the planet. Ambesol I think is the liquid stuff, much easier to use and a very instant result. Hope it clears up soon.

Piskie sweetheart, have you considered getting professional advice from either your GP or dentist. When you have something that is 'recurring' personally I would want to get it sorted out/seen to. It may seem something that you can self treat, but speaking from experience, it turns out to be nothing serious. Just to be on the safe side.

Have you tried honey to treat it, Piskie? I know its an old treatment, but i am sure it works.. Honey caps are great to chew for hay fever.. maybe some of our bee keepers could advise.
