Yes, hello Flummery
I do find this vine very addictive, and have learned so much from other people's advice and working practices.
I live in a tiny flat and all sorts of things propelled me into getting an allotment but wanting to grow things, eat my own food, have an outside space that was my own were the main ones and now, nearly two years later, am like the others who've replied, utterly taken up with the whole business of growing things.
Being lucky enough to work at home, my patient employers now allow me to work three (very long) days a week so have just started doing four days on the allotment and now the weather is impoving it's wonderful to be able to spend so much time outside, working to improve my allotment. And seeds growing - that is magic, even more magic, that as a complete novice I have managed to grown something and that these little tiny seeds then plantlets turn into productive eatable plants.
Not done drugs but the high you get after a days gardening must be very similar!
best wishes
Sue
