I had to scramble today to rescue some empty blueberry trays that my better half was about to consign to the recycling bin. These make excellent seed trays and come in varying sizes depending on where you buy the blueberries and are effectively free and as we know, small seed trays are ridiculously expensive.
What else do you others rescue for use in the greenhouse/garden that would otherwise cost quite a lot?

) ive got him trained to bring them home in the clear plastic tray that holds a 10 or 12 pots, I use them as trays for my small plant pots & they dont have holes so you can water from beneath. OH is quite good at asking for those they are throwing away if they happen to be refilling shelves when he is there so last week came home with a dozen or so
