I dropped the lights, removed the ceiling around them then fastened the lights to the ceiling joist. I'll try and post some updated pics tonight when I get home from work. There is still a lot to do.

A week a monday or maybe two............still so much to do. Sink & Hob to fit, upstands & splashback to go up, new sockets, windowsill, undercupboard lighting, floor to tile & I bet I still have forgotten some jobs. Got a skip coming tomorrow so that will take me all weekend to fill. At least we'll get some garden back.

Slowly but surely

Almost there, biggest problem is having to wait up to 8 weeks to have gas meter moved outside so dishwasher can be pushed back. I'm having to give it a rest as I have ripped the tendons in my arm & is really painful.

Ooh Bigmallly there is a kitchen that is to die for! It is looking great! (My personal favourite is the bottle of red on the windowsill, but that is just me!)

Scrubbing the grout off the floor tiles, my wrist is really painful and grating.

Just logged onto your kitchen transformation, we were there last year so big sympathy for the mess and not being able to cook or wash up in the kitchen, it all turned out good in the end and your kitchen is looking fab.

The wrist is now splinted, turned out to be tendonitis..............have got to rest it for a week or so.
