Pickled Eggs Gone BLACK!!!

It wouldnt be guiness in this house, it wouldnt have made it to the jar lol

The more I look at this situation I have a feeling it may have something to do with the lid and oxidisation, although there is no obvious suggests on the lid, the other jars, that a kilner and not recycled are fine!!!

Sounds like the inside of the lid isn't vinegar-proof. No cure that I know. They may or may not be 'safe' to eat, but probably pretty disgusting!
