White bread, buttered and with cheese

The wife thinks they're disgusting though

    You've made me hungry now.

A sandwich place does them - 8" baguette (white), buttered - lashing of it... 6 fishfingers in it, and tom sauce...

It's nice but kind of goes through you fast (I dont think they cook the fish fingers properly - they microwave them? .

Not had it for a while, maybe tomorrow for lunch

          Mr OWG has ketchup

They are a saturday lunchtime staple here

Never considered having cheese in it! Absolutely no idea why - I'm a cheeseaholic!

Never mind all that, just get them out of thoven, put the lot (still in the pan) on a tray, squeeze tomato ketchup on to said pan, take tray, put on lap and dip fish fingers in ketchup and munch whilst watching TV

EDIT: having said that - white bread, butter and ketchup but I find it fills me up too quickly that way.

I've never had it but I'll try it. I'll try it with tartare sauce I think in a bit of french bread.

White bread (but fresh not the processed stuff) with tomato sauce and a thin smear of butter. Tis truely lovely.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Salty, vinegary, minimum of 5 fish fingers per sanger, lashings of ketchup, hot sauce, salad cream, sweet chilli sauce (dependant upon my mood at the time. Wholemeal bread preferred, and that thick. It is De rigeur that you bite it so that your chin shares the delight.
