Good allotment fare.........all veggies from allotment,tatties, sprouts,carrots & parsnips.

Beef casserole with home grown onions / shallots and spuds (bought carrots as this year's crop was pants). Cookie for afters (or maybe cheese and crisps). Plus lots of red wine.
We had Roast Chicken,, with potatoes from the garden, parsnips and carrots in honey and thyme, onions stuffed with cream and cheese and wrapped in bacon and sprouts, bacon and chesnuts.
just polished off two bowls of the wifes home made vegetable soup with crusty bread so dont need any dinner now!!
might have some cheese on toast before bed!!

Just about to have roast chicken stuffed with onions & sage, yorkies, roast spuds, carrots, french beans, cabbage & peas. Just the chicken & yorkies not produced by me
Spent yesterday cooking so as to not have to think about it for the week, so the week's menu is: Spag. bol., coq au vin, beef caaserole and dumplings, beef hotpot (like a Lancashire hotpot but with beef) and chicken in garlic cream sauce.
I'm just putting the finishing touches to duck (with PW's plum sauce of course) with spuds, winter salad and devilled mushrooms.
