First one at myself for losing several references I need for my essay despite keeping every bit of paper I have written/scribbled/jotted/doodled on (thankfully found but had to give myself a kick up the bum)

Flipping postpeople wot can't read. I keep getting post for someone 2 streets away, despite politely complaining each & every time this happens.

I'd like to moan about the weather too, but that's a bit boring now. I've been soaked 3 times today - my hair's like rat's tails and my mascara's ended up as black blusher: I look not unlike Alice Cooper

My MASSIVE rant

At this time of year (love and peace and all that to all men, you know the sort of thing!!!) why, oh, why are people soooo rude My wife and daughter went to town yesterday, with the baby in the pram, and the number of people who let shop doors close on them My wife held a door for my daughter to go through, and a woman pushed through and when my wife commented the woman said "so what!!!"

What is is about this time of year that turns people into ignorant, ill mannered, rude and boorish individuals?

Nothing turns them that way, Zeb. they're like it anyway. Usually they don't go out, but, unfortunately, this time of year they have to, and that's their way of dealing with it. Sad, I know.

My rant? Yes, there is one, I'm not just chatting, so People who can't bladdy drive. If you're useless, throw away the keys and catch the bus/taxi, or stay at home!!!!!!!!

They're always like it, you're only just now noticing. Get some business cards printed up with "congratulations, you are a WINNER! of the 'most ignorant person I've met all day' competition"

Rant rant rant... um... oh yeah, parrots who have a litter tray for their mess, but they prefer to carry the food to the edge of the table so they can scatter it all on the carpet

Oh no - our (very) local lifeboat station is to close. The nearest one will now be in Dover. So if Mr TS decides to fall out of the helichopper on his way to the rigs, he'll need to phone ahead (our helicopter station is closing too, the nearest one is now 30 miles away, creating even more traffic on the roads)

Horses. Especially the four that we have just spent an hour and a quarter trying to round up. They would rather gallop about in the driving snow, than come in to a dry stable, huge pile of hay and bucket of feed. Thank you very much.

My 15 year old neice has yet again been let down by her Dads side of the family, if it wasnt for her Mums side she would be in care or on the streets. Whats the saying out of sight out of mind.
They are supposed to be the GROWN UPS. GRRRRRR

So, my latest try at a 'happy family holiday' has fallen flat on its face. �250 down the swanee: darling stepdaughter doesn't want to go (talk about 11th hour, we leave at 7am) and now her nanny (my MiL) doesn't want to go either remind me, why do I bother?
