My rant:
Whilst I know that I dont have a runway in my back garden, a direct flight from here to home would be about 3 hours.
How can it be that the wonderful travel company we use, have managed to book me a flight home, leave on Thursday and not arrive home until Friday midday?

No, not a medical impairment.! Have just spent a hour fighting with the greenhouse. Got back from doing a bit 'o shopping to find the greenhouse door taking itself for a walk....... .Anyways I caught it, was putting it back on & a bladdy roof panel & 2 side panels went for a burton............ As you can imagine the air was blue, very blue but I fought the good fight & is now back in working order. Put another boat load of clips on but not sure how long they will hold. Need to go lay down now.............Thanks for listening.

I can echo piggin wind. Went out the back door to find 4 panes of glass gone in better halfs greenhouse. Not an absolute disaster because I have a stock of glass, but as usual, not enough the correct size. After cutting a couple of panes to to size, one broke when the clips were going on so had to do another. It's not bl@@dy fair. (having a Kevin moment).

sorry just got to have a little rant, hope you don't mind!!

I'm off work at the moment with sciatica and will be all next week, I'm a senior science technician and therefore the 'prep room' is my kingdom. I have just spoken to a collegue who has informed me that the temp the school has got in has decided to rearrange MY preproom! how dare she, I wouldn't mind but i've only been off 3 days and she's not even a qualified technician!!!
I've just sent a real rant to my head of department asking her to have a word.....................really in the words of Mr Meldrew I DON'T BELIEVE IT! cheeky cow!

My husbands office got broken into last night.
At first glance he knew that tools laptops etc were taken but couldnt look further until the police arrived.
It transpires, through the cctv (unmanned) that the gits were watching for hours before he left for home,
they parked their van right next to his so they couldnt be seen and loaded everything through a small window into their van. and used a set of his steps to get back through the window
Van is registered to a tractor down South!
Anyway they have taken a whole load of stuff running into xx of thousands of pounds.
My husband has worked his @rse off for all this equipment to build his business to provide for his family and now looks ready to throw in the towel.
And the lowlife thieving b@@tards stole my sons bike gear that he worked his backside off to get as well.
There isnt a smiley angry or upset enough and I am not allowed to use all the swear words I know

I killed the rant thread, god I am good!! so I shall start it again

I officially hate TalkTalk, they keep switching me off when I am trying to impart my wisdom ,ha

I digress, my rant, My youngest( I would refute he was mine but he was born at home) is one day into a potential 5 week grounding, he has a sum of money he has to pay back to his school (not theft I hasten to add but damage), anyway , one day in and I get a text " Can I watch the school football match tonight?"
My reply "What part of grounded dont you understand"
His reply "But its school stuff"

The thieving git who entered our lottie and stole our wheelbarrow ....I knew someone had been there cos my snake had moved from the shallots and climbed a wire fence to sit on the path. Didn't notice the missing item till I had to move some manure today , they came through a hawthorn and bramble hedge.........What really hacks me off is that it was a wedding present from 23 years ago.......

What a con!.....I took the car for its' MOT today & it failed because the indicators on the side of the wings were flashing white instead of orange.........It turns out instead of them having an orange cover (which would make sense) the cover is white & the bulbs are coated with some type of orange paint. So even the the bulbs worked, because the paint had burned off over time, it was classed as a failure......

computers going poof and it's all my fault for reseating a fan [just after I extol it's virtues on another thread....doh!].
Luckily I had another one hanging around, bit it's ancient, so I've spent 2 hours re-configuring and updating, and re-setting, and generally sorting it out. Small 'grrr' because it's all my fault.

My computer desk. It creaks. I wedge it, it goes quiet for a week, then it starts creaking again. I lean on it, it stops. I move, it creaks... AAAAAAaaaarrrrrrgggghhh!
