  • Help me find a name please

I am hoping to start a floristry business soon with my friend and am racking my brain trying to think of a name. I wondered if any of you creative people could help?

The flowers will either be grown by ourselves or as locally as possible, and we wanted the feel of the company to be sort of country chic - think old fashioned country gardens, quintessential flowers, shabby chic that kind of thing

    Thanks a lot

        Floribunda

Latin name translates as "many flowered" or "abundance of flowers".

I would be a perfectionist, but I dont have the time

I was thinking something like Rosie's Posies (doesn't have to be your real name does it!) or Roses & Posies, I did a quick check & the names are used by other florists but as long as they're not local I suppose you could use them. Or how about 'Daisy Days' ?

Pivoine (French for peony). I'm not a fan particularly of foreign-for-the-sake-of-it names, but if you're going for the shabby chic thing, maybe nice. I have a perfume of the same name, which made me think of it (and Janeyo's post).

Anything with the words elegance/class/luxury in the title always make me think they'll be anything but. Don't know why that is, but true for me.

                        The Enchanted Florist?

                        Flower Power?

                        Florist Fields?

Sorry that's the best I could do - I guess they've probably all been used anyway.

Good wishes with your new venture - and the name.
