Yep, I turned my compost today in the pouring rain.
Had just discovered something had burrowed up in the middle. So needed to disturb the contents.
Dont know what it was as no sign of anything. Burrow too big for a mouse. So thinking it might be a rat? Will turning the contents everyday for the next few days work to get rid of whatever it is?
Continued writing labels and tidying up in greenhouse.
I love the sound of the rain on the glass when you are in the dry!
I'm definitely one for indoors planting seeds, sorting out, picking and packing, drinking coffee, baking, cooking my harvest. Depends on the rain. Drizzly stuff is ok but verging on hailstone stuff is a no no. Too wet and Roxie doesn't go out because she sits out in it rather than under cover. That's assuming I can get her out of the jutch to start with
I've been swimming in a thunderstorm but never weeded.
Bright Blessings
