As if the lavender isn't relaxing enough on it's own - they're breathtaking shots Jules. Having said that, I would have to hold my breath - I'm not keen on the smell of it!

Wow what fantastic pictures, puts my two plants to shame.

Mrs TK comes from Somerset and didn't even know that place existed, mind you she has not been back for a few years. To her the home of lavender is Provence.
All I can say is, eat your heart out Provence!

Anyone successfully taken cuttings? I know you can.

Think, when we've got some time, very soon, I'm going to drag the BH over to see those fields at the crack of dawn. Can't believe they are just a few miles from me and I never knew about them.

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Hi Tomatoking, When Mr HF and I married (14yars ago) I had lavender in my bridal flowers,
The flowers came from plants I bought and the florist gave me back the plants- which I still have. I have taken many cuttings - yes it seems quite easy- some root but some may rot! so take a few if you can.
