    C:\>ping www. google.com (edit - with no space though)

    Is what I get when I do it.

    Do you get the cmd box up?

    Are you 'pinging' from C:\> ?

    Type cd .. then press enter until you do and then try.

      It doesn't matter whether you ping from the root or a sub folder, the reason why it failed the first time for you is because you put in an extra "w"

        Oh yeah, didn't notice - ok so why did it fail for 2-sheds? I'm not the one with problems I was just seeing what would happen if I followed Qzy's instructions, to see if I'd get what 2-sheds got. *shrugs*

          check the simple stuff first.
          open your browser, go to file, check to see if work offline is ticked.

            The error that 2sheds got typically is caused by a syntax or invalid character, usually its because the user forgot the space after ping
