Put another watch on - worked fine.

        Quite literally, third time lucky!

        p.s. This did happen. Literally.
Not necessarily Wayne. Depends on what order you put your watches on

Astrologically speaking it's normally male (not man) or at least masculine, where as the moon is normally female or feminine

At least you don't live in our house H'ey - we have approximate time in our house. There are 5 'clocks' in the house; the cooker, the central heating, the video (yep the video), 2 phones and none of them match each other, some are out by lots, other just a few mins so it's always roughly the time.

Good job with the 3rd time lucky, not only was it really 3 times for trying but they were watches too, which tell the time!!!

Don't you find that the word 'literally' is misused, like, literally all the time?

One of the bestest misuses was one I read years ago, when I used to occasionally buy Private Eye. T'was in the Colemanballs column, referring to some footballer or other: "Amazing! He is literally carrying the whole team on one leg." A close second is from the same column: "He missed the goal by literally a million miles."

                      Made me laugh, that did.

Now if it was me then it would have come in threes (bad luck that is) and the third watch would have a hand missing - not mine
